Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Deutschlehrer/in & Akademische Mitarbeiter/in to join our dynamic team in the vibrant districts of Kebon Jeruk (West Jakarta) or Alam Sutera (South Tangerang). This full‑time position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates or early‑career professionals to develop their teaching expertise while contributing to the academic growth of our students. The role is open to female candidates who hold at least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) and possess a German language certification at B1, B2, or C1 level.
Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and deliver engaging German language lessons for learners of varying proficiency levels.
- Develop curriculum materials, including worksheets, multimedia resources, and assessment tools aligned with European language standards.
- Conduct regular oral and written evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress through detailed reporting.
- Facilitate small‑group and one‑on‑one tutoring sessions to address individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members on interdisciplinary projects, language‑immersion events, and cultural exchange programs.
- Assist in translation and interpretation tasks for academic documents, promotional materials, and campus communications.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and community outreach activities.
- Maintain a well‑organized classroom environment, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- German language certification at B1, B2, or C1 level (recognised by the Goethe‑Institut or equivalent).
- Demonstrated pedagogical aptitude and a genuine passion for teaching.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to commute to and work in either Kebon Jeruk (West Jakarta) or Alam Sutera (South Tangerang).
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Basic translation skills from German to Indonesian and vice‑versa are highly desirable.
