To continue delivering award‑winning campaigns, we are looking for a talented Video Editor (Professional) who can blend storytelling expertise with technical precision.
Responsibilities
- Edit short‑form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and mid‑ to long‑form pieces (YouTube videos, corporate profiles, campaign ads) from raw footage.
- Craft a clear narrative arc (“cut to the story”), select the best takes, and maintain engaging pacing that captures audience attention within the first three seconds.
- Perform basic color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
- Clean up audio tracks, apply simple mixing, and add light sound design elements such as SFX and ambience.
- Integrate subtitles, captions, call‑out text, and basic graphic overlays; collaborate with a Motion Designer when advanced animation is required.
- Export final videos according to platform‑specific specifications (aspect ratios 9:16, 1:1, 16:9; appropriate bitrate, safe‑area considerations, and hook timing).
- Work closely with Producers, Videographers, Content Strategists, and Account Managers to interpret briefs, understand target audiences, and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines, ensuring each deliverable meets the highest quality standards.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends in short‑form content, platform algorithms, and new editing tools to keep our output fresh and competitive.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Communication, Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional video editing experience, preferably within an agency or production house environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more of the following software:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- CapCut
- Core Knowledge: Understanding of continuity, purposeful jump cuts, rhythm, and storytelling fundamentals; basic audio leveling and noise reduction; introductory color correction and grading.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, deadline‑oriented mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask across several active projects.
- Personal Traits: Creative problem‑solver, proactive collaborator, and passionate about the evolving landscape of digital video.
- Other: Open to all genders; no age limit; must be able to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
