Introduction
Sas et is launching a new coffee concept and is looking for enthusiastic Barista Kopi to join the opening team. This is an entry‑level opportunity for high school graduates who are passionate about serving great coffee, creating a friendly atmosphere, and learning the fundamentals of café operations. The role is based on a six‑day work week (Monday‑Saturday) with regular daytime hours, providing a stable and supportive environment for anyone eager to start a career in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, and specialty teas, following standard recipes and quality guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station; regularly sanitize equipment, countertops, and seating areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, taking orders accurately and offering recommendations based on individual preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and reconcile daily sales reports with honesty and attention to detail.
- Assist in inventory management by receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and notifying management of low‑stock items.
- Collaborate with the opening team to set up the café before service, including arranging seating, preparing display cases, and ensuring all supplies are stocked.
- Continuously improve product knowledge and barista techniques through on‑the‑job training and occasional workshops offered by the company.
- Uphold the brand’s values by fostering a drama‑free, respectful workplace where teamwork and positivity are prioritized.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- No prior barista experience required; a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for coffee are essential.
- Honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic are non‑negotiable.
- Ability to work without stress or drama (“no baper, no drama”) and maintain a calm demeanor during busy periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for handling cash and operating the POS system.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when needed.
