Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Classroom Teacher to join our dynamic primary education team. Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with national curriculum standards for Mathematics, Science, and English.
- Deliver engaging, student‑centered instruction using a variety of teaching methodologies, including project‑based learning, differentiated instruction, and technology‑enhanced activities.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and individualized support where needed.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievement, behavior, and classroom events.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum specialists, and school leadership to develop interdisciplinary units and improve instructional practices.
- Mentor junior teachers, sharing best practices in classroom management, lesson planning, and assessment strategies.
- Participate in professional development workshops, staff meetings, and school improvement initiatives.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment that supports the social‑emotional wellbeing of all students.
- Apply knowledge of Linear Equations (SPL) and other fundamental mathematical concepts to enhance problem‑solving skills across subjects.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) – preferred fields include Mathematics Education, Science Education, English Education, or related MIPA disciplines.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience teaching in an elementary school setting.
- Language Proficiency: Advanced command of English (both written and spoken); CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong mathematical knowledge, particularly in solving linear equations (SPL); competence in using educational technology and digital learning platforms.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, teamwork, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
