Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Kasir Penjualan to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will serve as the face of our store, handling all cash transactions, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers. This full‑time position offers a stable Monday‑Saturday schedule, with work hours from 08:00 to 17:00, and the opportunity to develop a career within a fast‑growing retail chain that values integrity, teamwork, and community involvement.
Responsibilities
- Process daily sales transactions accurately using our POS (Point‑of‑Sale) system, ensuring correct pricing, discounts, and tax calculations.
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments, perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, and prepare daily sales reports for management review.
- Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product questions, guiding them to items, and resolving any concerns promptly.
- Maintain an orderly checkout area, keep the counter clean, and ensure that promotional materials and price tags are up‑to‑date.
- Collaborate closely with sales associates, inventory staff, and store managers to ensure smooth store operations and optimal stock levels.
- Assist in inventory control by scanning returned merchandise, updating stock records, and reporting discrepancies.
- Open and close the store according to standard operating procedures, including security checks, cash drawer preparation, and equipment shutdown.
- Uphold company policies on hygiene, safety, and especially the observance of the five daily prayers, ensuring a respectful work environment for all staff.
- Participate in periodic training sessions, product knowledge workshops, and team meetings to continuously improve service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 0‑1 year of experience in a cash handling or retail sales role; prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Professional appearance, honesty, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to be assigned to any outlet within the network, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Commitment to maintaining the five daily prayers, reflecting the company’s respect for cultural and religious practices.
- Basic proficiency with cash register systems and familiarity with the “Sistem Kasir” software.
- Excellent numeracy, attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused during high‑traffic periods.
