We are seeking a dedicated Karyawan Harian – Koki to join our vibrant culinary team in the heart of Ubud. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering high‑quality dishes to our guests while maintaining the rigorous standards of food safety and service excellence that define our brand.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of menu items according to established recipes and portion standards.
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning daily specials, managing inventory, and ordering fresh ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace, adhering to local health regulations and our internal HACCP protocols.
  • Monitor food preparation times to ensure dishes are served promptly during peak service periods.
  • Collaborate closely with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order flow and address any guest special requests.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen assistants, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in regular kitchen briefings, offering feedback on menu development and operational efficiencies.
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely, performing routine maintenance checks and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Work effectively under pressure, especially during high‑volume service periods such as weekends and special events.
  • Contribute ideas for menu innovation that reflect local ingredients and seasonal produce.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum D3/D4 in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Age: Open to candidates of any age, with a preference for individuals who demonstrate maturity and reliability.
  • Gender: All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a professional kitchen environment is preferred, though motivated beginners with a strong passion for cooking will also be considered.
  • Key Skills: Proficiency in kitchen management systems, basic accounting for inventory, and familiarity with modern cooking techniques.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, honesty, responsibility, and the ability to collaborate both within a team and independently.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting.
  • Availability: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
