The Park Mall Solo is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Koki (Cook) to join our vibrant food‑service team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a wide variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature monitoring.
- Assist in daily inventory checks, receive deliveries, and ensure proper rotation of stock to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, supervisors, and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Monitor and adjust cooking times and techniques to deliver consistent quality under high‑volume conditions.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen assistants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism.
- Participate in menu development meetings, offering creative input and suggestions for seasonal or promotional dishes.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with occupational health and safety standards.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to management for timely resolution.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekend rotations, as required by the mall’s operating hours.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; culinary training or a vocational certificate is a strong advantage.
- Physical and mental fitness to handle long standing periods, lifting, and the fast‑paced nature of a commercial kitchen.
- Honesty, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to stay focused, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Possession of an Android smartphone for internal communication and scheduling apps.
- Not currently enrolled in a full‑time academic program; availability for full‑time employment.
- Own reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, as the mall operates Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and a customer‑service mindset.
- Basic cooking skills (keterampilan memasak) and a passion for culinary arts.
