We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Operasional Laundry to join our fast‑growing laundry and dry‑cleaning service. Responsibilities
- Operate steam irons and other equipment to press garments to professional standards.
- Fold, sort, and organize clothing items, ensuring each piece is presented neatly for delivery.
- Receive incoming laundry orders, verify item lists, and record special handling instructions.
- Package finished garments securely for transport, using appropriate wrapping and labeling techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and uphold service level agreements.
- Assist in inventory checks of detergents, softeners, and packaging materials, reporting shortages promptly.
- Provide courteous assistance to customers who drop off or pick up orders, addressing inquiries with professionalism.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on fabric care, stain removal, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per company policy).
- Minimum age: 17 years old; no upper age limit.
- Education: Open to all educational levels; a high school diploma is advantageous.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Core skills: Proficiency in ironing, garment folding, and basic packing techniques.
- Technical ability: Comfortable using steam irons and basic laundry equipment.
- Soft skills: Strong work ethic, good attitude, reliability, and the ability to work in a shift system (including weekends).
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting of laundry baskets.
- Communication: Clear verbal skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic computer literacy for order entry is a plus.
