Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kasir Toko Retail to join our team in the bustling Paberasan area. This full‑time position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be the front‑line face of our store, handling daily cash transactions, assisting customers, and supporting overall store operations. The ideal candidate is a high school graduate with a strong work ethic, basic computer proficiency, and a genuine desire to provide excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions efficiently using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and electronic payments.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer by performing regular cash counts and reconciling end‑of‑day reports.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product inquiries, and resolve minor issues to enhance the shopping experience.
- Operate computer applications for inventory checks, price updates, and promotional scanning.
- Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and performing routine price tag checks to keep the sales floor organized.
- Collaborate with the store manager and sales staff to implement daily sales promotions and upselling strategies.
- Prepare and file daily sales summaries, return authorizations, and exchange documentation for management review.
- Observe store security protocols, report suspicious activity, and safeguard cash and valuable items.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on customer service excellence, new product lines, and POS system upgrades.
- Provide feedback on customer trends and suggest improvements to streamline checkout processes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates are preferred, with a strong preference for residents of the Paberasan vicinity.
- Honest character and a pleasant personality; ability to remain courteous under pressure.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows operating systems and POS software.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- No prior experience required, though previous exposure to retail environments is advantageous.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to fast‑moving retail demands.
