Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Sorter to join the Puninar Event team in East Java. This role is a vital part of our logistics operation, ensuring that every item entering or leaving the warehouse is handled with precision, care, and efficiency. As a member of a fast‑growing events and supply‑chain company, you will work in a dynamic environment where accuracy and teamwork directly impact the success of large‑scale events throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify documentation, and process items into the warehouse management system.
- Inspect each received product for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues to the warehouse supervisor.
- Weigh, count, and reconcile quantities against purchase orders to ensure full compliance with order specifications.
- Assist senior warehouse staff in locating and picking items according to internal pick lists and customer orders.
- Prepare outbound shipments by securely packaging goods, affixing correct labels, and completing required shipping paperwork.
- Transport packed orders to the designated loading zone, ensuring items are positioned safely within delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
- Organize inventory on warehouse racks following company layout guidelines, using proper stacking techniques to maximize space utilization.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard‑free work environment by regularly sweeping aisles, disposing of waste, and adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in workflow and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate timing of inbound and outbound loads, helping to meet tight event schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: up to 45 years old.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s operational needs).
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect product imperfections.
- Basic numeracy skills for weighing and counting inventory accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move items of varying sizes throughout the shift.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills for interacting with supervisors, fellow warehouse staff, and delivery drivers.
- Commitment to follow safety guidelines and maintain a tidy work area.
