Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously update cycle menus that comply with national nutrition standards and cater to the specific needs of school-aged children.
- Calculate energy requirements and nutrient needs (AKG) for diverse age groups, using established dietary reference intakes.
- Conduct regular hygiene and sanitation audits in food preparation areas, ensuring compliance with local food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and local health officials to integrate nutrition education into the curriculum.
- Provide technical guidance to kitchen staff on proper food handling, storage, and cooking techniques to preserve nutrient quality.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs through data collection, surveys, and health outcome tracking.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting program achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Participate in community outreach activities, such as workshops and seminars, to raise awareness about balanced diets and preventive health.
- Stay updated on emerging nutrition research, policy changes, and industry best practices to continuously improve program delivery.
- Mentor junior staff or interns, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the nutrition team.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4/S1 in Nutrition, Public Health, Food Technology, Food Processing, or Food Service Management.
- Female candidates only, as specified by the project’s cultural considerations.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in designing balanced menus that align with Indonesia’s national nutrition guidelines.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and safety principles.
- Ability to accurately calculate energy and nutrient requirements for multiple demographic groups.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex nutritional concepts in simple terms.
- Creative problem‑solving mindset, proactive attitude, and a collaborative spirit.
- Competence in using nutrition analysis software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to reside in the provided mess accommodation if you are recruited from outside the region.
