Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Service Team member will be responsible for a broad range of tasks that support both the pharmacy operations and the consumer experience. Typical duties include:
- Greeting customers and providing courteous assistance in a fast‑paced environment.
- Receiving, verifying, and processing prescription orders while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Providing clear medication counseling, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock counts, and coordinating restocking with suppliers.
- Operating point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and handling cash or electronic transactions securely.
- Collaborating with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve complex medication queries.
- Participating in shift rotations, including night or weekend shifts, to guarantee continuous service coverage.
- Utilizing a motorbike for timely delivery of urgent medication to nearby clinics or patient homes, complying with safety regulations and maintaining a valid SIM‑C.
- Documenting all transactions and interactions accurately in the pharmacy management system.
- Contributing ideas for process improvements, customer engagement initiatives, and health‑promotion activities.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, Health Sciences) or at least a SMK/SMA diploma.
- Age: Applicants should be within the legal working age range; no upper age limit is imposed.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the current operational requirements).
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; however, any prior experience in pharmacy, retail, or customer service is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate a motorbike safely and possess a valid SIM‑C license.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, honesty, teamwork, adaptability, and a willingness to continuously upgrade personal competencies.
- Work Schedule: Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends.
