Introduction

This role offers a rare blend of hands‑on operational exposure and strategic insight into large‑scale event planning within a five‑star hotel environment. Responsibilities
- Assist senior event managers in designing and executing corporate meetings, weddings, and special functions from concept to completion.
- Coordinate with internal departments—including catering, front office, housekeeping, and audio‑visual—to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed event timelines, floor plans, and resource allocation sheets.
- Conduct vendor outreach, negotiate contracts, and monitor delivery of supplies and equipment.
- Prepare and manage event budgets, track expenses, and generate post‑event financial reports.
- Provide on‑site supervision during events, handling guest inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collect feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to evaluate event success and recommend improvements.
- Support the creation of marketing collateral, promotional materials, and social media content to boost event visibility.
- Participate in regular debrief sessions with executive leaders to discuss performance metrics and career development pathways.
Requirements

- Minimum education: Vocational High School (SMK), Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management, or a related field.
- Currently enrolled in an internship program approved by your school or university.
- Strong interest in the hospitality industry and a clear understanding of event operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and preferably English.
- Professional appearance, well‑groomed, and capable of representing the brand positively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Disciplined, responsible, and consistently maintains a positive, solution‑focused attitude.
- Willingness to commit to the full internship period as defined by the company’s schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
