Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging private English lessons for senior high school (SMA) students, aligning with the national curriculum and exam requirements.
- Assess students’ language abilities through diagnostic tests, provide personalized feedback, and create individualized learning plans.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods—including interactive games, multimedia resources, and project‑based activities—to develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Monitor and track student progress, maintaining detailed records of attendance, performance, and areas needing improvement.
- Communicate regularly with students’ parents or guardians, offering updates on academic growth and recommending strategies for at‑home practice.
- Prepare supplementary materials such as worksheets, practice exams, and vocabulary lists to reinforce classroom learning.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the tutoring program.
- Maintain a disciplined yet supportive classroom atmosphere, ensuring punctuality, respect, and a focus on academic achievement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; candidates in their final semester are also considered.
- At least 1 year of proven experience teaching English to high‑school students, preferably in a private or tutoring setting.
- Age not exceeding 35 years, with a strong commitment to professional growth.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English, complemented by a solid understanding of Indonesian grammar for effective bilingual instruction.
