Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point‑of‑Sale) systems and related cash handling equipment with speed and precision, ensuring every transaction is recorded correctly.
- Process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments while adhering to company policies on cash handling and fraud prevention.
- Maintain an organized and tidy checkout area, including regular cleaning of the counter, receipt printer, and cash drawer.
- Verify the accuracy of daily sales reports, reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift, and promptly report any discrepancies to management.
- Provide courteous and attentive service to guests, answering menu questions, handling special requests, and resolving minor complaints on the spot.
- Assist in inventory checks for consumables such as napkins, cutlery, and condiments, notifying supervisors when stock levels are low.
- Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth order flow, especially during peak hours, and help expedite orders when needed.
- Support promotional activities by accurately applying discounts, loyalty points, and special offers through the POS system.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new menu items, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handwashing, sanitation of the checkout area, and wearing the required uniform.
Requirements

- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a cashier in the food‑and‑beverage industry.
- Proficiency in operating POS machines, cash registers, and basic computer applications.
