Introduction
PT Karina Adhie Nugraha, operating under the brand Karina Agency, is a leading provider of outsourcing and recruitment services in Indonesia. We are expanding our retail support team and are seeking a dedicated Merchandiser – Penataan Produk di Ritel to join our dynamic workforce. This role is pivotal for ensuring that our client’s products are presented attractively, stocked consistently, and supported by insightful market data.
The successful candidate will work across a wide geographic area, travelling to various retail outlets to implement visual merchandising standards, monitor inventory levels, and gather competitive intelligence. The position offers a structured workday from 08:00 to 17:00 with flexible scheduling based on client needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute product placement strategies to create eye‑catching displays that drive sales in assigned retail locations.
- Conduct regular store visits to verify that merchandising standards are maintained and that promotional materials are correctly positioned.
- Monitor on‑hand inventory, report low‑stock situations, and liaise with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment.
- Collect and analyze market data, including competitor shelf layouts, pricing, and promotional activities, and provide actionable insights to the sales and marketing teams.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs, photographic evidence of displays, and inventory reports using the company’s mobile application.
- Collaborate with store managers and retail staff to train them on product knowledge and visual merchandising best practices.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross‑selling based on store layout and consumer behavior.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, health & safety regulations, and local retail policies.
- Travel extensively across the assigned territory using a personal vehicle; maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, aged 35 years or younger.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in retail merchandising, sales promotion, or a related field.
- Possession of a personal vehicle with a valid, active SIM (driver’s license).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with store personnel.
- Highly disciplined, honest, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to handle frequent travel and the ability to lift merchandising materials up to 20 kg.
- Proficiency in using mobile apps and basic office software for reporting and data entry.
