Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Operator Mesin Casting dan Pengatur Rak to join our fast‑growing metal‑casting facility. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency of our production line, ensuring that high‑quality cast components are produced on schedule while the storage racks are organized for optimal workflow. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, shift‑based environment, collaborating closely with engineers, supervisors, and fellow operators to meet daily output targets.
Our plant operates six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional early‑morning shift extensions to accommodate urgent orders. We welcome applicants of all genders who possess a strong work ethic, a professional appearance, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate casting machines according to production specifications.
- Monitor melt temperatures, pour rates, and cooling cycles to guarantee dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine inspections of molds, dies, and tooling, reporting any wear or defects to the maintenance team.
- Document production data, including batch numbers, cycle times, and quality checkpoints, in the company’s ERP system.
- Manage the organization of finished cast parts on storage racks, ensuring proper labeling, segregation, and inventory control.
- Coordinate with material handlers to replenish raw material bins and retrieve completed parts for downstream processing.
- Identify and troubleshoot common casting issues such as porosity, cold shuts, or surface imperfections, escalating complex problems to senior engineers.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to 5S principles and strict safety protocols.
- Participate in shift hand‑overs, providing clear communication on production status, equipment condition, and any outstanding tasks.
- Assist in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements to reduce waste and improve cycle time.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience operating casting machinery or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Age not exceeding 27 years.
- Open to all genders.
- Professional appearance and personal hygiene.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors and peers.
- Willingness to work shift schedules, including early‑morning extensions when production demands.
- Not currently enrolled in any academic program (full‑time availability required).
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
