Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in selecting products, providing personalized recommendations that align with their needs and preferences.
- Develop a deep understanding of the product range, including specifications, promotions, and seasonal items, to answer inquiries confidently and accurately.
- Process cash, card, and digital payments with precision, ensuring compliance with company cash‑handling policies and minimizing errors.
- Maintain tidy and visually appealing merchandise displays by replenishing shelves, arranging promotional signage, and rotating stock according to FIFO (first‑in‑first‑out) principles.
- Uphold cleanliness standards throughout the store, including floors, shelving, fitting areas, and the checkout counter, creating a welcoming environment for shoppers.
- Monitor inventory levels in real time, flagging low‑stock or damaged items to the store manager and assisting with periodic stock‑taking activities.
- Utilize the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and basic computer applications for sales recording, price checks, and generating end‑of‑day reports.
- Collaborate with team members to execute store promotions, seasonal sales events, and special customer service initiatives.
- Provide after‑sale support, such as handling returns, exchanges, and addressing any customer concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
- Female candidates only, as per store policy.
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA) or vocational high school (SMK) equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a retail or customer‑service role, preferably in a high‑traffic environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations, including POS software, Excel, and email communication.
- Strong numerical aptitude with a reputation for honesty and meticulousness when handling cash and verifying merchandise.
- Excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High level of personal hygiene, neat appearance, and a courteous attitude toward customers and colleagues.
- Willingness to work at the Tambora location in West Jakarta and to adhere to the designated schedule.
