Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Canvassing Sales Representative to join our growing team in the fragrance industry. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence by directly engaging with retail stores, small‑to‑medium enterprises (UMKM), and potential customers across the region. The successful candidate will act as the face of our brand, delivering product knowledge, sampling experiences, and personalized recommendations that drive sales and build lasting customer relationships. This position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30, and provides a competitive compensation package complemented by performance incentives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic canvassing and on‑site visits to retail outlets, UMKM partners, and prospective clients to introduce and promote our fragrance portfolio.
- Present product features, distribute samples, and tailor fragrance recommendations based on client preferences and market trends.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with merchants and end‑users, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and encouraging repeat orders.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional offers, and successfully close sales while adhering to company policies.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, documenting activities and results in the CRM system and providing regular reports to sales management.
- Monitor competitor activities, market dynamics, and emerging consumer trends to identify new business opportunities and advise the product team on potential enhancements.
- Maintain a well‑organized schedule, ensuring timely follow‑ups, sample deliveries, and after‑sales support.
- Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to coordinate promotional events, in‑store displays, and inventory replenishment.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Junior High School (SMP/MTS) or equivalent.
- Age: No upper age limit; candidates of all ages are encouraged to apply.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably within the perfume, cosmetics, or related FMCG sectors.
- Own a reliable motorcycle and possess a valid Class C driver’s license (SIM C) for field mobility.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey product value persuasively.
- Strong self‑motivation, goal‑oriented mindset, and willingness to work independently in the field.
- Basic proficiency in sales administration tools such as mobile CRM apps, order entry software, and Excel.
- Ability to analyze market feedback and provide actionable insights to the product development team.
