Introduction
SPX Express, a leading logistics provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Pemimpin Hub for its hub in Abang, Kab. Karangasem. This pivotal role oversees the end‑to‑end flow of parcels, ensuring that every shipment moves smoothly from pickup to final delivery. The ideal candidate will blend strong supervisory experience with hands‑on knowledge of both last‑mile and first‑mile logistics, while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and guarantee on‑time delivery of all parcels, from initial pickup through final hand‑over to customers.
- Coordinate daily operations with Warehouse teams, Line Haul drivers, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to align schedules and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement and enforce SOPs that minimize the risk of lost, damaged, or delayed packages.
- Track and reconcile all hub transactions, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, overseeing sorting, loading, and dispatch processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop hub staff, conducting regular performance reviews and targeted training sessions.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery rate, error rate, and hub throughput, and propose corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the hub environment.
- Collaborate with the regional operations manager to forecast staffing needs and plan capacity for peak periods.
- Utilise Microsoft Excel to generate dashboards, trend analyses, and actionable insights for senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Proven experience in both Last Mile and First Mile operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing cross‑functional teams.
- Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to make data‑driven decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Abang, Kab. Karangasem.
