Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Cashier (Kasir Penjualan) to join our retail team at the Kemang branch. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, handling transactions accurately, and contributing to a vibrant store environment. The position offers a stable schedule with Monday‑Saturday shifts, providing an excellent entry‑level opportunity for candidates with a minimum high school education.
Responsibilities
- Process all sales transactions quickly and accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments while ensuring proper reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering product questions and resolving minor issues.
- Maintain a tidy checkout area, including stocking receipt paper, bags, and promotional materials.
- Monitor inventory levels of high‑turnover items at the register and communicate restocking needs to the floor team.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, such as counting cash drawers, preparing deposits, and securing the register.
- Follow all company policies regarding cash handling, loss prevention, and data privacy.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new products, promotions, and POS software upgrades.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Report any technical issues with the POS system or discrepancies in sales records to the store manager promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

- Willingness to work a shift schedule, including early mornings and occasional weekend overtime.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS or cash register systems.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Professional appearance and a courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 15 kg when needed.
- Prior experience in retail or cashier roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
