Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Indonesian language lessons for SMP and SMA classes, aligning with the national curriculum and school standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Conduct regular formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to help students improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Facilitate interactive classroom activities, such as debates, role‑plays, and group projects, to enhance critical thinking and communication abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress, and communicate updates to parents and school administration.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum review sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues from other subject areas to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects that reinforce language use in real‑world contexts.
- Provide additional tutoring or after‑school support for students who require extra assistance, especially during afternoon hours.
- Uphold the school’s policies on discipline, safety, and academic integrity while fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Indonesian Language, or a related field.
- Strong command of Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to teach both grammar and literature effectively.
- Capability to teach at both junior high (SMP) and senior high (SMA) levels.
- Flexibility to be available for afternoon sessions and occasional weekend activities.
- High sense of responsibility, professionalism, and loyalty to the institution.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred, but fresh graduates with a passion for education are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to be assigned to any of our campuses in Sumedang, Cimalaka, or Situarja.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Basic proficiency in educational technology tools (e.g., learning management systems, virtual classrooms).
