Responsibilities

  • Manage the end‑to‑end procurement cycle, from requisition approval to purchase order issuance and receipt of goods.
  • Develop and maintain a qualified supplier base, conducting regular performance evaluations and negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and payment schedules.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to analyze stock levels, price trends, and cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans to prevent stock‑outs or over‑stock situations, aligning with sales forecasts and promotional calendars.
  • Review and verify all purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes for compliance, accuracy, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse team to ensure timely receipt, proper storage, and accurate record‑keeping of incoming materials.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to secure packaging and promotional materials that meet brand standards and launch timelines.
  • Work closely with Finance to reconcile purchase transactions, monitor budget utilization, and support month‑end reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, such as e‑procurement tools or automated reporting dashboards, to increase efficiency and transparency.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, including supplier contracts, price lists, and compliance certificates, in accordance with corporate governance policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum D3/S1 (any field), with a preference for Economics, Business Administration, or Food Technology.
  • Experience: 1–2 years as a Purchasing Staff, Buyer, or similar role, preferably within consumer goods or food‑retail companies.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, stock forecasting, and price modeling.
    • Strong negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing and payment terms.
    • Ability to conduct accurate demand forecasting and inventory planning.
    • Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing Purchase Orders and invoices.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication for cross‑functional coordination.
    • Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities.
    • Team player who can work effectively with Warehouse, Marketing, and Finance teams.
    • Time‑management and ability to prioritize tasks in a Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00 work schedule.
