Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Pengawas Lapangan Proyek Perumahan Skala Nasional to join our fast‑growing construction team. This role is based in Purwokerto and will commence at the start of the Idul Fitri 2026 holiday period. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, overseeing the daily execution of a large‑scale residential development that serves thousands of future homeowners across the nation. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high‑visibility project that aligns with national housing policies and sustainable community planning.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate on‑site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship, conduct regular inspections, and generate detailed daily reports for senior management.
- Manage subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment usage, resolving any logistical challenges that arise on the ground.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and the procurement team to address design queries and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, including photos, work logs, and incident reports, to support project tracking systems.
- Enforce strict adherence to occupational health and safety regulations, conducting toolbox talks and emergency drills as needed.
- Identify potential risk factors, propose mitigation strategies, and communicate any schedule impacts to the project manager.
- Support the development of community outreach initiatives, ensuring the project respects local cultural and environmental considerations.
- Assist in budgeting activities by tracking labor and material costs, highlighting variances for corrective budgeting.
- Provide mentorship and on‑the‑job training for junior field staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar field supervisory role within residential or large‑scale housing projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations specific to Indonesia.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, solve problems quickly, and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency with basic construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak construction phases and adapt to changing project schedules.
