Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Inventory Placement Controller for our Bekasi facility. This role is critical in ensuring that all inbound and outbound goods are accurately recorded, stored correctly, and handled in compliance with food safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will operate within a fast‑paced warehouse environment, supporting our supply chain operations across the greater Jabodetabek region.
Working in a shift‑based schedule, you will collaborate closely with logistics coordinators, quality assurance teams, and warehouse supervisors to maintain seamless inventory flow. Responsibilities
- Verify that the surat jalan (delivery documents) match the physical goods received, flagging any discrepancies immediately.
- Conduct regular temperature checks of freezers and chillers, recording readings twice per shift on standardized forms to ensure compliance with HACCP standards.
- Cross‑check sales orders (SO) against physical inventory during the inbound process, updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real time.
- Document instances of over‑receipts, under‑receipts, or damaged (bad stock) items, and initiate corrective actions with the quality team.
- Enter received quantities into the WMS, marking any items that are rejected or not accepted for further investigation.
- Organize stored products using FIFO (First‑In‑First‑Out) and FEFO (First‑Expired‑First‑Out) methodologies to minimize waste and preserve product freshness.
- Perform two temperature measurements per shift, log the data accurately, and report any deviations that exceed preset thresholds.
- Document disposal activities, including the destruction of bad stock, and ensure all regulatory paperwork is completed.
- Assist in periodic physical inventory counts and cycle counts, reconciling system data with actual stock levels.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male, age not exceeding 35 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or cold‑storage environment.
- Willingness to work in the Jabodetabek area and adapt to a rotating shift schedule.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Highly attentive, meticulous, and able to follow instructions with precision.
- Physical agility and stamina to handle manual tasks, lift moderate weights, and move around the facility safely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer literacy for data entry into the WMS.
- Self‑motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently while also being a reliable team player.
- Understanding of food safety regulations, temperature monitoring, and inventory control principles is a plus.
