To support our expanding network of stores, we are seeking a dedicated Petugas Kasir Penjualan (Sales Cashier) who can deliver excellent service to our customers while maintaining accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts for all customer transactions.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer by accurately handling cash, credit, debit, and digital payments, and performing end‑of‑day reconciliation.
- Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to shoppers, answering product queries, suggesting promotions, and ensuring a pleasant checkout experience.
- Monitor and restock impulse‑buy items near the register, keeping the checkout area tidy and organized.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, counterfeit notes, or technical issues with the POS equipment to the store manager promptly.
- Collaborate with inventory staff to verify stock levels, process returns, and manage exchanges according to company policy.
- Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and security protocols, especially during weekend and holiday shifts.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash count, preparation of cash deposits, and securing the cash register.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new product lines, promotional campaigns, and cashier system upgrades.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the brand positively to all customers and visitors.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum 0 years indicated in original text is corrected to a realistic limit).
- Gender: Female candidates only, as specified by the employer.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates with a willingness to learn are welcome.
- Strong sense of honesty and responsibility; ability to handle cash with precision.
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as part of the regular schedule.
- Own reliable transportation for commuting to the Surabaya Timur location.
- Residence must be within Surabaya Timur or surrounding areas to ensure punctuality.
- Basic proficiency with cash register systems and a quick learner of POS software.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and a friendly, customer‑focused demeanor.
