Introduction
We are seeking an energetic Promotor Produk to join our dynamic sales team in Surabaya. This role focuses on creating brand awareness, driving product trials, and building strong relationships with retail partners and end‑customers. As a front‑line ambassador, you will represent our company’s portfolio of consumer goods, delivering compelling demonstrations and educational experiences that turn interest into purchase. The position is full‑time, Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑16:00, and requires a willingness to travel across the Surabaya metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site marketing activities, including product promotions, live demonstrations, and free‑trial events at retail outlets to generate foot traffic and interest.
- Engage customers with clear, persuasive communication, explaining product features, benefits, and proper usage to encourage trial and conversion.
- Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with store managers, sales staff, and key decision‑makers to secure shelf space and promotional support.
- Gather and record prospective customer data, updating the central CRM system with leads, feedback, and purchase intent to assist the broader sales pipeline.
- Monitor competitor activity in the field, reporting insights that help refine promotional tactics and positioning.
- Provide post‑visit follow‑up, answering any lingering questions, distributing promotional materials, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align on campaign objectives, share market intelligence, and contribute ideas for new promotional strategies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold brand standards during all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 21‑30 years old.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client).
- At least 1 year of experience in field sales, retail promotion, or a related customer‑facing role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey product information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong interpersonal abilities – friendly, approachable, and capable of building rapport quickly.
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a mobile, on‑the‑ground role, including standing for extended periods and carrying promotional materials.
- Own a valid motorbike, possess an active SIM C, and be comfortable navigating Surabaya’s traffic and diverse retail environments.
- Self‑motivated with a proactive mindset, able to work independently while meeting daily and weekly targets.
- Adaptability and quick learning skills to grasp new product lines and market trends.
