Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Asisten Guru Sekolah Dasar to join our vibrant primary school community in Sunter. This role supports the lead teacher in delivering high‑quality, child‑centered education to pupils aged 6‑12 years. Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing daily lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.
- Prepare teaching materials, visual aids, and interactive resources to enhance student engagement.
- Provide one‑on‑one and small‑group support for students who need additional reinforcement, especially in literacy and numeracy.
- Monitor student behavior, enforce classroom rules, and promote positive social interactions.
- Assist in the administration of assessments, record‑keeping, and progress reporting.
- Facilitate extracurricular activities, such as arts, sports, and cultural events, to develop well‑rounded personalities.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment, including inventory of supplies and classroom safety checks.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, upcoming events, and any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school improvement initiatives.
- Support inclusive education practices by adapting materials for children with diverse learning needs.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum S1 (Bachelor’s degree) in Education, Child Development, or a related field. A High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) is also acceptable for candidates with strong relevant experience.
- Age: Maximum 32 years old; all genders are welcome.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in elementary education or tutoring; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Language: Excellent English proficiency; TOEFL or IELTS certification is a plus.
