Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor Area Publik dan Kebersihan to join our dynamic hospitality team. This pivotal role ensures that public areas and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld, providing guests with a safe, welcoming, and immaculate environment. The ideal candidate will combine practical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical engineering (ME) systems with strong leadership abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cleaning operations across lobbies, corridors, dining areas, and other public spaces to meet brand‑standards.
- Coordinate and monitor the maintenance of HVAC and mechanical equipment, ensuring proper ventilation, temperature control, and air quality.
- Train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections, compile audit reports, and promptly address any deficiencies or guest complaints.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and personal protective gear, and place orders as needed.
- Collaborate with the Facilities and Engineering departments to plan preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Enforce safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals, waste management, and adherence to local health regulations.
- Prepare and present performance metrics to senior management, highlighting cost‑saving opportunities and service enhancements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Male (as per local labor regulations for this position).
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a similar hospitality or facilities‑management role.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and basic mechanical engineering concepts.
- Height of at least 165 cm.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM A) and relevant certification in cleaning or facility supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and a customer‑service mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
