Introduction
The Remedial Officer (Collection) – Sibongan plays a critical role in safeguarding the financial health of our multifinance institution. Based in the region of Sibongan, this position is responsible for managing overdue accounts receivable (A/R), conducting field visits to delinquent borrowers, and supporting branch teams in resolving problem accounts. The successful candidate will be a proactive, target‑driven professional who balances firm collection practices with respectful, solution‑oriented communication.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue A/R, ensuring that all payments are pursued promptly and in accordance with company policy.
- Plan, schedule, and execute on‑site visits to borrowers to discuss payment options, negotiate settlements, and secure repayment commitments.
- Collaborate with branch managers and credit analysts to identify high‑risk partners, develop remediation strategies, and monitor the progress of problem accounts.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly collection targets set by senior management, reporting results and variances with clear, data‑driven insights.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, communications, and agreements in the corporate CRM system.
- Provide regular feedback to the credit underwriting team regarding emerging risk patterns and potential policy adjustments.
- Participate in training sessions and stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the multifinance sector.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive borrower information.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Diploma) or S1 (Bachelor’s) in any field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services; prior experience in a multifinance environment is a strong advantage.
- Male candidates only, with a maximum age of 29 years at the time of application.
- Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a clear focus on meeting collection targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, meticulousness, and honesty.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a branch team.
- Willingness to be placed in a location that matches the candidate’s domicile.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
