This role serves as the bridge between our financial products and potential borrowers, ensuring that households receive the guidance and support they need to improve their economic well‑being. The ideal candidate will be a self‑motivated individual with strong communication skills, a passion for community development, and the flexibility to work both in the field and from a central office.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new customers for Amartha’s micro‑loan programs by conducting outreach activities, community events, and referral networking.
- Provide ongoing economic counseling to member households, helping them manage budgets, plan investments, and improve financial literacy.
- Conduct thorough surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s internal policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed recommendation reports for the financing committee, highlighting risk factors, repayment capacity, and suggested loan structures.
- Accompany members to weekly meetings, monitor transaction activities, and resolve any operational issues that arise during service delivery.
- Maintain accurate field records, update the CRM system, and report key performance indicators such as new client acquisition, loan disbursement rates, and portfolio quality.
- Collaborate with local partners, NGOs, and community leaders to expand Amartha’s reach and enhance program visibility.
- Participate in continuous training sessions to stay current on product developments, compliance updates, and best practices in micro‑finance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (S1) are preferred.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Valid motorbike license and personal two‑wheel vehicle for field travel.
- Willingness to work primarily on-site in Lubuklinggau and be flexible to travel to other Amartha branches when needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly in diverse community settings.
- Strong analytical mindset for assessing loan eligibility and conducting risk analysis.
- Ability to live in company‑provided mess housing during the assignment period.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in sales, customer relationship management, or micro‑finance is a plus.
