We are a leading payment‑solution provider expanding our footprint across Indonesia, and we are seeking dynamic individuals to join our sales team as Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC – Area Kabupaten Katingan. This role focuses on acquiring small and medium‑size enterprises (UMKM) in the Katingan regency and introducing them to our state‑of‑the‑art Electronic Data Capture (EDC) devices. The successful candidate will act as the face of the company on the ground, building trust with local merchants, educating them on the benefits of digital payments, and driving adoption that fuels both their growth and our network expansion.
Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive canvassing of UMKM throughout Kabupaten Katingan, presenting the features and advantages of our EDC machines.
- Achieve a daily sales target of 2‑3 new merchant sign‑ups, maintaining a pipeline that exceeds the minimum quota.
- Perform product demonstrations, answer technical queries, and provide after‑sales support to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with merchants, acting as their primary point of contact for any payment‑related needs.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and emerging trends within the local retail and services sectors.
- Prepare and submit daily activity reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to the regional sales manager.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to coordinate promotional events, training workshops, and community outreach programs.
- Maintain accurate records of merchant contracts, device installations, and compliance documentation.
- Identify upselling opportunities such as additional payment solutions, value‑added services, and loyalty programs.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and ethical standards while representing the brand in the field.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: No upper age limit; candidates must be physically capable of field work.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in financial services, telecommunications, or consumer electronics.
- Possession of a valid SIM C (motorcycle) and ownership of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle for daily travel.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Analytical mindset: ability to use sales analysis tools to track performance and identify improvement areas.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones, mobile apps, and common office software for reporting.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend events as needed.
