Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Professional Midwife to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality maternal and newborn care, supporting women throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. As a critical member of our clinic, you will work closely with obstetricians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure safe, respectful, and evidence‑based services for families in our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive antenatal assessments, including health education, risk identification, and preparation for delivery.
- Assist in labor and delivery, monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rate, and maternal wellbeing while maintaining a calm and supportive environment.
- Conduct postpartum examinations, promote breastfeeding, and offer guidance on newborn care and maternal recovery.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and nutritionists to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with national health regulations.
- Participate in community outreach programs, health fairs, and prenatal classes to raise awareness about maternal health.
- Ensure compliance with infection‑control protocols and safety standards within the clinic.
- Mentor junior staff and nursing assistants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.
- Stay current with the latest best practices, guidelines, and research in midwifery and maternal‑child health.
Requirements
- Female candidates only; maximum age 28 years.
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) in Midwifery or Nursing; candidates with a high school (SMK) background in Beauty Care may also be considered if they demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Active Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) for midwifery or nursing.
- At least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent is required.
- Zero to two years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in counseling expectant mothers and families.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety.
- Basic understanding of pediatric care and child development.
