Introduction
Union Bangunan Building Centre, a leading retail hub in Palu, is seeking energetic and persuasive Sales Promotion Boy/Girl to represent the Lampbond LED lighting range. This frontline role will be based at our Union Bangunan Building Centre location (BUNDARAN PALUPI) and will involve direct interaction with customers, product demonstration, and achievement of daily sales targets. The position offers a dynamic work environment with a Monday‑to‑Sunday schedule, providing a valuable stepping‑stone for recent graduates and experienced sales professionals alike.
Responsibilities
- Actively approach visitors and explain the technical and aesthetic benefits of Lampbond LED products.
- Conduct product demonstrations using storytelling techniques to illustrate energy savings, longevity, and design versatility.
- Assess customer needs and recommend the most suitable lighting solutions, upselling accessories and complementary items.
- Maintain immaculate product displays, ensuring that shelves, signage, and demo stations are tidy, well‑stocked, and visually appealing.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through proactive prospecting, follow‑up, and conversion of inquiries into purchases.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system, and generate daily sales reports.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform weekly stock counts, and coordinate with the warehouse to replenish popular SKUs.
- Provide post‑sale support, answering product‑related questions and handling warranty or return procedures.
- Participate in shift rotations, collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuous coverage and a seamless customer experience.
- Contribute ideas for promotional campaigns, in‑store events, and visual merchandising to boost foot traffic and conversion rates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 20 and 35 years; maximum 35 years at the time of application.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, SPG, retail, or a related customer‑facing role (experience is a plus, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Excellent communication skills: friendly, persuasive, and able to build rapport quickly.
- Fast learner with the ability to master electrical product knowledge and translate technical specs into simple benefits.
- Strong storytelling ability to convey product value and differentiate Lampbond LEDs from competitors.
- Comfortable working with sales targets, shift schedules, and performance metrics.
- Service‑oriented mindset with patience and professionalism when handling customer inquiries or complaints.
- Honest, disciplined, and accountable – reliability is essential for shift work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and inventory tracking.
- Residence within a 30‑minute drive to Union Bangunan Building Centre (BUNDARAN PALUPI).
