Introduction
Artaboga, a leading player in the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, is expanding its sales force to bring beloved snack brands such as TANGO, FULLO, WAFFLE, and IMPERIAL directly to consumers. We are seeking a Spesialis Penjualan Motorik (Motorcycle Sales Specialist) who will act as the frontline ambassador of our products, traveling to outlets, warungs, and traditional markets across the region. This role offers a dynamic, on‑the‑road environment where you will build relationships, drive brand awareness, and generate revenue through cash‑based transactions.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned retail outlets, street‑level warungs, and open‑air markets daily to present and sell Artaboga snack products.
- Load, transport, and unload merchandise using the company‑provided saddle bag, ensuring product integrity and proper stock rotation.
- Collect cash payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily sales figures against inventory records.
- Maintain accurate stock levels on the motorcycle, perform routine checks of product expiry dates, and report any discrepancies to the regional sales manager.
- Develop and follow a structured route plan to maximize coverage, reduce travel time, and meet sales targets.
- Gather market intelligence—such as competitor pricing, promotional activities, and emerging consumer trends—and communicate insights to the marketing team.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing retailer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and offering product recommendations.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including cash flow, order forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Participate in periodic training sessions, product tastings, and promotional events organized by Artaboga.
Requirements
- Education: Open to all educational levels; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Age: No maximum age limit; candidates must possess the physical stamina required for daily motorcycle travel.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Entry‑level candidates (0+ years) are welcome; prior experience in FMCG sales or direct retail selling is a plus.
- Valid motorcycle license and a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse retailers.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and capable of working independently while adhering to schedules.
- Basic numeracy for cash handling and sales reporting.
- Ability to navigate urban and semi‑urban routes safely, using GPS or local knowledge.
