Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Representative for the HoReCa sector to join our dynamic team in Makassar. This role focuses on building and nurturing relationships with hotels, restaurants, cafés, and bakeries across the region and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess a strong network within the hospitality industry, a passion for sales, and the drive to exceed targets while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new HoReCa customers by leveraging existing industry contacts and conducting market research.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Present product portfolios, promotional offers, and tailored solutions to decision‑makers in hotels, restaurants, cafés, and bakeries.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals in line with company objectives.
- Track sales activities, update CRM systems, and provide regular reports on pipeline progress and market feedback.
- Collaborate with the marketing and logistics teams to coordinate product deliveries, promotional events, and in‑store displays.
- Conduct competitor analysis and stay informed about industry trends, pricing strategies, and emerging opportunities.
- Travel across Makassar and surrounding districts, as well as occasional out‑of‑city trips, to meet clients and attend trade shows.
- Maintain a valid SIM C driver’s license and ensure reliable transportation for field visits.
- Adhere to the company’s code of conduct, safety standards, and professional ethics at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 22 – 35 years old.
- Gender: Male.
- Experience: No prior experience required, though experience in the HoReCa sector is highly preferred.
- Strong network within the hotel, restaurant, café, and bakery industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid active SIM C license and personal motor vehicle for field work.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, including occasional weekend visits if required.
