Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other specialty equipment safely and efficiently.
- Engage with customers, take orders, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work station, including regular sanitation of equipment and work surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, teas, milk, syrups, and supplies; notify management when re‑stock is needed.
- Handle cash transactions, process electronic payments, and accurately manage the till at the start and end of each shift.
- Assist in opening and closing duties such as setting up displays, restocking pastries, and performing end‑of‑day cleaning.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new brewing techniques, seasonal menu items, and customer service best practices.
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with local food‑handling regulations.
- Contribute ideas for menu innovation, promotional events, and community outreach activities.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Maximum 30 years old.
- Gender: Female (per company policy).
- Marital status: Unmarried.
- Experience: Prior experience as a barista or in a similar customer‑facing role is preferred.
- Transportation: Own personal vehicle for reliable commute.
- Personal attributes: Honest, hardworking, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Availability: Must not be enrolled in any school or university program during employment.
- Skills: Proficient in coffee preparation techniques, basic math for cash handling, and strong interpersonal communication.
