Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Field Collector to join our dynamic team covering the Wilayah Tana Toraja region. This role is pivotal in maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments directly from our valued customers. The successful candidate will act as the face of the company on the ground, building strong relationships, exercising persuasive negotiation, and delivering professional service that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site collection activities, visiting residential and commercial customers across the Tana Toraja area.
- Initiate and manage payment discussions, employing effective communication and negotiation techniques to secure settlements.
- Collect cash, checks, or electronic transfers and issue receipts in accordance with company policy.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily visit reports, including payment status, customer feedback, and any disputes encountered.
- Maintain accurate records of collection attempts, agreements reached, and follow‑up actions required.
- Coordinate with the credit and finance departments to update account statuses and resolve discrepancies.
- Identify and report potential risk accounts, suggesting proactive measures to mitigate future delinquencies.
- Adhere to the standard work schedule of Monday‑Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, while remaining flexible for urgent collection cases.
- Ensure personal safety and the security of collected funds during travel and on‑site engagements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 40 years.
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client).
- At least 1 year of prior experience in collection or a related field; 2 years preferred.
- Possession of a valid motorbike (Roda Dua) and a current SIM C license.
- Thorough knowledge of the Tana Toraja area, including local routes and customer locations.
- Strong communication, active listening, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle cash responsibly.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for report entry and data tracking.
