This full‑time position is based in our Jakarta headquarters and offers a structured work week from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00. Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and validate the completeness and authenticity of vendor invoices.
- Match each invoice against the corresponding purchase order and goods‑or‑services receipt documentation.
- Record all payable transactions accurately in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
- Maintain and monitor the payment schedule to honor agreed‑upon terms and avoid late fees.
- Prepare electronic and manual payment batches, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of the accounts‑payable ledger to ensure balances are correct.
- Archive all payment vouchers, supporting documents, and correspondence in an organized filing system.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, purchasing, and internal finance teams to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to address billing queries, negotiate payment terms, and build strong partnerships.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, providing necessary AP schedules and reports.
- Support internal audit processes by supplying documentation and explaining AP controls.
- Continuously seek process‑improvement opportunities, recommending automation or workflow enhancements.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in a senior accounts‑payable role, preferably within a medium‑to‑large organization.
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, journal entries, debt management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with local accounting standards (e.g., PSAK in Indonesia) and experienced in operating financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or MYOB.
- Exceptional attention to detail and familiarity with internal approval procedures, control frameworks, and tax regulations related to AP transactions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with vendors, purchasing, and finance teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Professional demeanor, high ethical standards, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
