Introduction
SPX Express, a leading provider of logistics and supply‑chain solutions in Indonesia, is seeking a motivated Shift Lead for its operations in Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating daily parcel pickup and delivery activities, ensuring that our 3PL partners and couriers operate efficiently within the Nusa Penida district. This full‑time position follows a Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule, with working hours from 09:30 to 18:30, and requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for couriers to pick up parcels from customers and suppliers.
- Supervise the end‑to‑end shipment process, from dispatch to final delivery, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Define and allocate delivery zones based on traffic patterns, order volume, and geographic considerations.
- Monitor inbound and outbound goods flow, coordinating with the 3PL team to guarantee accurate documentation and timely hand‑overs.
- Oversee sorting operations, ensuring parcels are correctly categorized for efficient distribution.
- Conduct regular audits of warehouse inventory and delivery records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Lead a small team of warehouse associates and couriers, providing coaching on safety protocols, proper handling, and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with the regional logistics manager to forecast demand, plan staffing levels, and suggest process improvements.
- Generate daily and weekly performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as on‑time delivery rate, pick‑up accuracy, and zone efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, resolving conflicts between couriers, customers, and internal departments promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field is a plus.
- 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in logistics, supply‑chain, or warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of warehousing processes, inventory control, and last‑mile delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns and adapt to changing operational demands.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Kec. Nusa Penida, Kab. Klungkung, Bali.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, warehouse management systems).
