Introduction

In this role you will act as the vital bridge between Amartha’s financial products and underserved households in the region, helping to expand financial inclusion while building a rewarding career path.
The position is based in the Pekanbaru area, with regular travel to the Marpoyan Damai and Siak Hulu districts. Candidates will work closely with local community members, Amartha’s loan officers, and the internal financing committee to ensure that every client receives the support they need to thrive economically.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential borrowers, inviting them to join Amartha’s micro‑finance programs.
- Provide ongoing economic coaching and household budgeting assistance to existing members.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, strictly adhering to Amartha’s underwriting policies and procedural guidelines.
- Prepare detailed credit assessment reports and present clear, data‑driven recommendations to the financing committee.
- Facilitate weekly member meetings, ensuring smooth transaction processing and addressing any concerns in real time.
- Maintain accurate field records, update the CRM system, and generate periodic performance dashboards for management.
- Collaborate with local partners, community leaders, and other business partners to strengthen Amartha’s presence in the region.
- Travel extensively across assigned districts, using a personal two‑wheel vehicle to reach remote households.
- Participate in continuous training programs to stay current on financial products, regulatory changes, and best practices in community development.
Requirements
- Age: maximum 28 years (flexibility up to 35 years for exceptional candidates).
- Education: Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) – Bachelor’s degree (S1) preferred.
- Gender: All genders welcomed.
- Own a reliable two‑wheel motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work primarily in the field and travel throughout the assigned branches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build trust with diverse community members.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess creditworthiness and financial viability.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, or community outreach is a plus.
