Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Shoe Technician – Footwear Repair Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bogor. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for shoes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver high‑quality repair and cleaning services. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, providing exceptional service to our growing customer base while supporting our store’s operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and conditioning of all types of footwear, including leather, canvas, and synthetic materials.
- Diagnose and repair common shoe issues such as sole wear, stitching defects, glue failures, and hardware malfunctions.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Document each service order in the store’s Management System, ensuring accurate tracking of parts, labor time, and customer preferences.
- Provide courteous, knowledgeable advice to customers regarding shoe care, maintenance schedules, and product recommendations.
- Manage inventory of repair supplies, order replacement parts when necessary, and conduct regular stock checks.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Collaborate with sales staff to promote add‑on services such as waterproofing, odor control, and custom fittings.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on the latest footwear technologies and repair techniques.
- Assist in quality‑control inspections to ensure every repaired shoe meets the company’s high standards before customer pickup.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 25 years.
- Preferred experience: prior work in shoe cleaning, shoe repair, or retail shoe store environment.
