Introduction

BNI Life, the insurance arm of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), is expanding its Bancassurance footprint across the Greater West Java region. We are seeking dynamic, results‑driven professionals to join our team as Spesialis Bancassurance in the cities of Bandung, Cianjur, Sukabumi, Purwakarta, and Pangandaran. This role serves as the direct interface between BNI Life and BNI Bank branches, promoting tailored life‑insurance solutions to retail customers while supporting the bank’s broader financial‑services strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for life‑insurance products within assigned BNI branch outlets.
  • Conduct proactive prospecting, needs‑analysis, and product presentations to individual customers.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective closing techniques and follow‑up.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, and policy issuances in the company CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with branch managers, relationship officers, and other internal stakeholders to generate cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong, trust‑based relationships with both internal (BNI staff) and external (policyholders) parties.
  • Provide ongoing client service, handling inquiries, policy adjustments, and claims facilitation to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, product workshops, and compliance briefings to stay current on industry regulations and BNI Life’s evolving portfolio.
  • Report performance metrics, market feedback, and competitive intelligence to regional sales leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate degree) or S1 (bachelor’s degree) in any discipline; degrees in business, finance, or marketing are a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, banking, or insurance environments.
  • Professional, well‑groomed appearance with strong personal presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for a career in sales and a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Active AAJI (Asosiasi Asuransi Jiwa Indonesia) license is not required; however, willingness to obtain certification is advantageous.
  • Open to working in any of the following locations: Bandung, Cianjur (Cibeber), Sukabumi, Purwakarta, or Pangandaran.
  • Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional travel for client meetings or training events.
