Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Shopkeeper for our retail outlet specializing in everyday consumer goods. Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store according to the established schedule, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, process sales transactions, and reconcile daily receipts.
  • Manage inventory levels: receive shipments, conduct regular stock counts, and organize merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering product queries, and resolving any complaints with professionalism.
  • Implement visual merchandising standards to keep displays attractive, organized, and aligned with promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and coordinate reorder points to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Train and mentor new staff members, fostering a team‑oriented atmosphere that emphasizes reliability and initiative.
  • Monitor store cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Generate weekly sales reports, analyze performance metrics, and suggest improvements to senior management.

Requirements

  • Female, maximum age of 27 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills and confident demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.
  • Prior experience in retail (preferred but not mandatory); a willingness to learn quickly is essential.
  • Honesty, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Discipline, responsibility, agility, and a proactive, initiative‑driven mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt, learn new store management systems, and maintain a strong work ethic.
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Basic proficiency with store management software and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
