Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Spesialis Pencegahan Kerugian to join our operations team at the Srengseng Warehouse in West Jakarta. This critical role focuses on protecting our assets, minimizing losses, and ensuring a secure environment for both staff and inventory. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail‑oriented individual with at least one year of experience in loss prevention or security, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and the willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze daily activities across the operational area to identify potential loss‑making patterns or security gaps.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify that all safety and security procedures are correctly implemented.
- Lead investigations into incidents such as theft, damage, or missing items, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for warehouse personnel on loss‑prevention policies, proper handling of high‑value goods, and emergency response protocols.
- Coordinate closely with logistics, inventory, and human‑resources teams to ensure rapid recovery of assets and continuous improvement of preventive measures.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management, highlighting trends, risk assessments, and proposed enhancements to the security framework.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry best practices, legal regulations, and emerging threats that could affect warehouse operations.
- Assist in the implementation of technology solutions such as CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and inventory tracking software.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external security agencies and law enforcement during investigations.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male.
- Experience: At least 1 year in loss prevention, security, or a related field.
- Certifications: Preferred possession of Gada Pratama or Gada Madya security certificates.
- Willingness to be stationed at the Srengseng Warehouse and to travel between hubs and other warehouses as needed.
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including five‑day workweeks that may encompass public holidays.
- Key skills: Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication, ability to conduct thorough investigations, and proficiency in basic administrative tasks.
- Soft skills: High integrity, attention to detail, problem‑solving orientation, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
