Introduction

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Staf Penagihan – Area Berau to join our collections team. This full‑time position is based in the Berau region and plays a critical role in maintaining healthy cash flow for our financial services portfolio. The successful candidate will engage directly with customers, negotiate payment solutions, and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations. Working hours are Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, offering a structured routine while providing ample opportunity to develop professional relationships in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face‑to‑face visits to assigned customers for the purpose of debt collection, ensuring a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Assess each client’s financial situation and propose tailored payment plans that align with company policies and the customer’s capacity.
  • Document daily visit outcomes, including payment commitments, objections, and any escalations, using the company’s CRM system.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive progress reports on collection activities, highlighting trends, success rates, and outstanding issues.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the company’s collection procedures and to relevant Indonesian laws governing debt recovery.
  • Collaborate closely with the credit risk and legal teams to flag high‑risk accounts and support legal action when necessary.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and effective negotiation techniques.
  • Provide feedback to management on recurring payment challenges and suggest process improvements to enhance recovery rates.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Male candidates only, aged 35 years or younger.
  • No prior collection experience required; fresh graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent spoken communication (Keterampilan Komunikasi Berbicara) and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on achieving win‑win outcomes.
  • High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality of customer data.
  • Self‑motivated with good time‑management skills to handle a demanding field schedule.
  • Basic computer literacy for reporting and data entry.
