Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Supervisor QA/QC Operations to lead the quality assurance and quality control functions for our frozen food production line in Sentul‑Bogor. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of safety, taste, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with production, research & development, and senior management to embed a culture of continuous improvement and rigorous quality management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all frozen food manufacturing processes comply with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and BPOM regulations.
- Conduct systematic inspections of raw material deliveries, in‑process operations, storage conditions, and finished goods.
- Supervise the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation.
- Lead internal audits, prepare audit reports, and coordinate corrective actions for any identified non‑conformities.
- Develop and present detailed quality performance reports, including trend analysis and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with R&D to validate new formulations and process changes, ensuring they meet quality criteria before scale‑up.
- Provide training and mentorship to line operators and junior QA staff on best practices in food safety and quality control.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma or Kaizen projects to reduce waste and improve product consistency.
- Maintain effective communication with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues swiftly and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, customer complaints, and audit scores, and recommend strategic enhancements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline (D3 acceptable with relevant experience).
- At least 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in QA/QC within food manufacturing, preferably in frozen food production.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and local BPOM regulations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make decisive judgments under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse departments and external auditors.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) is a plus.
