Introduction
PT Tempo Jayapura, a leading distributor of fast‑moving consumer goods in the Papua region, is seeking a dynamic Supervisor Penjualan Merauke to lead its sales team in the Merauke market. This full‑time position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding outlet coverage, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 16:00, and will be based at our Merauke office.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for both product sales and outlet buying volumes as defined in the annual business plan.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of the field sales team, ensuring alignment with company strategies.
- Conduct regular briefings with sales representatives to communicate promotions, pricing updates, and market intelligence.
- Monitor the execution of trade promotions, loyalty programs, and consumer promotional visits, providing real‑time feedback to the Marketing department.
- Perform competitor analysis and outlet surveys, synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations for future promotional calendars.
- Handle consumer complaints promptly, coordinating follow‑up visits and liaising with the customer service team to resolve issues.
- Analyze sales data, prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, and present insights to senior management.
- Identify new retail opportunities, negotiate shelf space, and develop relationships with key decision‑makers at outlets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical standards during all sales activities.
- Mentor and coach sales staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Gender: Male (as per current company policy for this position).
- Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience in field sales, preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to analyze sales data, understand market trends, and develop actionable plans.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing and motivating a team of sales representatives.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written Indonesian language skills; ability to present information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem‑Solving: Demonstrated capability to handle consumer complaints and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiar with sales management software.
