Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader Sales Promoter to join our fast‑growing commercial team in Cikarang, Bekasi. This pivotal role will drive sales performance across a designated retail area, nurture relationships with store owners and point‑of‑contact (PIC) personnel, and lead a group of 15‑20 sales promoters to consistently achieve and exceed targets. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership, analytical insight, and a passion for customer engagement in the competitive financial services market.

Responsibilities

  • Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets for the assigned geographic area, aligning with overall company objectives.
  • Conduct daily visits to merchants and retail partners, establishing and maintaining professional relationships with store PICs.
  • Oversee the execution of promotional programs, ensuring POP (Point‑of‑Purchase) materials are correctly placed and that campaigns run smoothly.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and field challenges, and report findings to the operational team.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 15‑20 sales promoters, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and regular training sessions.
  • Monitor daily activities of promoters, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Organize and deliver field‑team training and refresher workshops to keep the team updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate closely with partner operational teams to synchronize sales strategies, inventory management, and promotional calendars.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management review.
  • Adapt schedules to work shifting hours as required by retail operating times and promotional events.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; diploma or higher is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within financial services such as insurance, unit trusts, or related products.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing a team of sales representatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with merchants, internal stakeholders, and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing tactics to support promotional activities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, to meet the demands of the retail environment.
