Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee‑based drinks (espresso, latte, cappuccino, cold brew) and non‑coffee beverages (smoothies, teas, specialty mocktails) according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety protocols, ensuring all equipment, work surfaces, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized throughout the shift.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk alternatives, and other barista supplies; conduct daily stock checks and report low‑stock items to the manager.
- Engage with customers, offering recommendations, answering questions about drink ingredients, and handling special requests with professionalism and a smile.
- Train new team members on drink preparation techniques, machine operation, and customer service best practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to synchronize drink orders with food service, ensuring timely delivery during peak periods.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings (grinder, temperature, pressure) to maintain consistent flavor profiles across all shifts.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal menu items and limited‑time promotions, supporting the marketing team in creating compelling product launches.
- Adhere to the scheduled work hours of Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and be punctual and reliable.
- Demonstrate discipline, quickness, honesty, and high initiative in all tasks, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per company policy for this position).
- Age: Maximum 28 years for drink specialists (up to 38 years for kitchen cooks, if applicable).
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a café, barista, or beverage‑preparation role, with a strong focus on both coffee and non‑coffee drinks.
- Skills: Proficient barista techniques, knowledge of coffee bean varieties, milk frothing, flavor balancing, and basic latte art.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure during busy periods, and a proactive mindset.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg (e.g., coffee bean bags, milk containers).
- Availability: Must be able to work the full shift schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
